My October, 2010 USCF chess rating is 1481 which ranks me at 71st among current, active South Carolina USCF members.  My first USCF tournament started May 31st, 2007 and resulted in a provisional rating of 1127.  This makes slightly better than 100 rating points per year, an improvement rate that I hope to maintain by studying good chess books, practicing my technique, playing slow games and reviewing those games.
